Welcome to Beenleigh-Logan Bridge Club. |
The Beenleigh-Logan Bridge Club was the inspiration of Val Roland several years ago. When Kay Justice and Val got together recently they decided to make Vals dream a reality.
With the help of founding members Judy Aston, Sylvia Decker, Ted Decker, Kevin Williams & Di Williams, the Club finally became a reality and was affiliated with the Queensland Bridge Association at its meeting in June 2012. Jacque Roland was the first non-committee club member.
The club began sessions on the 8th August 2012 fully affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation and the Queensland Bridge Association.
Our bridge sessions are being played at Beenleigh Neighbourhood Centre, 10 James Street, Beenleigh, entry to the carpark via Mansfield Walk, Kent Street, (next to Police Station). There is also a disabled facility car park.
Bridge hands are computer dealt with personal scorers and hand records available at every session. Bridgemates are used for electronic scoring. Results are available at the end of play on our website.
Bridge sessions are being played Wednesdays at 12.30 pm,with further sessions available as we grow.
Supervised Play Wednesday at 9.30. (Please be seated at least 15 minutes prior to play commencing)
The aim of the Club is to bring good quality duplicate bridge to the area. This will be achieved with lessons running several times throughout the year and supervised play for all levels. Players wanting to go on and compete will be given full assistance.
Don't worry if you don't have a partner just turn up 15 minutes prior to play and we can organise a partner for you.
